Headkeeper

We are looking for an exceptional experienced Keeper, to take charge of perhaps the most exciting, varied as well as one of the most productive wild bird Shoots in the country. The Islay Estate extends to approximately 55,000 acres on the Island of Islay, with grouse, woodcock, snipe, wild pheasants, ducks and geese as well as significant stalking and fishing. It is a veritable wild bird and sporting Mecca.

The successful applicant will be actively engaged in further developing the Estate’s sporting potential and output, managing a team of Keepers and improving the habitat on this magnificent Estate, which has a modern take on traditional values.

A very attractive remuneration package to include exceptional accommodation is provided.
