Situated in the North York Moors National Park, the Snilesworth Estate extends to about 7000 acres.
JM Osborne & Co. were brought in in 2000 to turn around an in-hand short operation that was not performing and loosing money. A detailed shoot plan was prepared and then implemented. This included staff removal and subsequent recruitment.
The end result was the all time record Grouse bag (for all of the North Yorkshire Moors) in 2007 and the creation of a superb “low” ground Pheasant and Partridge shoot. The Estate owners now have an asset that produces the largest single income (and profit) source for the Estate, a much rejuvenated moor with sportsmen from all over the world coming to shoot on it and a very challenging commercial low ground shoot.
The shooting on Snilesworth moor is currently organised by William Powell Sporting. To discuss the possibility of taking a day or two on this fantastic moor contact James Chapel at William Powell Sporting.
